Songkran is the traditional Thai New Year (sometimes called "Water Festival") which falls from April 13-15, the hottest month of a year. It is an occasion of joy and family reunion. It is celebrated with religious ceremony and public festivities. People enjoy splashing water on each other as they believe that water will wash away bad luck, and splashing water over friends or anyone will give them a New Year blessing. When the young pour scented water on their elder's hands, the elders, in return, wish them good health, happiness and prosperity.
This year, we are hosting the festivities at the temple on Sunday, April 12, 2026. The schedule is as follows:

06:00 AM Monks, the 8 precepts participants and public perform morning chant
07:00 AM Offer breakfast to monks and the 8 percepts participants
10:00 AM Monks, the 8 precepts participants and public perform morning chant,
Receive alms offerings
11:00 AM Offer lunch to monks and the 8 percepts participants
01:00 PM Water Pouring to the Buddha image, monks, and the elderly
01:30 PM Listen to Dharma (Buddha’s teachings)
06:00 PM Monks, the 8 precepts participants and public perform evening chant
We would like to invite you to participate in the ordination accepting the 8 precepts and join in meditation, collection of merit and listening to Dharma teachings. In addition, there will be food, fruits, vegetables, clothing, jewelry, and other items for sale.

วันสงกรานต์ เป็นงานบุญประเพณี วันขึ้นปีใหม่ ของชาวพุทธเรา ซึ่งได้ปฏิบัติ เป็นประเพณี สืบต่อ กันมาเป็นเวลาช้านาน ปีนี้กำหนด จัดงานที่วัด ดังเช่นปีที่ผ่านมา ในวันอาทิตย์ที่ ๑๒ เมษายน ๒๕๖๙มีรายละเอียดในการจัดงานดังนี้

เวลา ๐๖.๐๐ น. พระสงฆ์พร้อมผู้ปฏิบัติธรรม ทำวัตรเช้าแปล
เวลา ๐๗.๐๐ น. ถวายภัตตาหารเช้าแด่พระสงฆ์และผู้ปฏิบัติธรรม
เวลา ๑๐.๐๐ น. พระสงฆ์พร้อมสาธุชนทำวัตรเช้าแปล ถวายพรพระ ออกรับบิณฑบาต
เวลา ๑๑.๐๐ น. ถวายภัตตาหารเพลแด่พระสงฆ์และผู้ปฏิบัติธรรม
เวลา ๑๓.๐๐ น. พิธีสรงน้ำพระพุทธรูป สรงน้ำพระสงฆ์ และญาติผู้ใหญ่
เวลา ๑๓.๓๐ น. มีพระธรรมเทศนาหนึ่งกัณฑ์
เวลา ๑๘.๐๐ น. พระสงฆ์พร้อมผู้ปฏิบัติธรรม ทำวัตรเย็น เจริญเมตตาภาวนา
จึงขอเชิญท่านผู้มีจิตศรัทธา ได้มาบวชถือศีลปฏิบัติธรรม ทำบุญ ตักบาตร ทำวัตรเช้า-เย็น ฝึกการทำสมาธิ เจริญเมตตาภาวนา ฟังพระธรรมเทศนา เป็นการเสริมสร้างบุญวาสนาบาร มีธรรมให้กับตนเองได้ตามวันเวลา สถานที่ดังกล่าว โดยความพร้อมเพรียงกัน.
หมายเหตุ ในงานนี้มีออกร้านขายอาหารคาว - หวาน พืชผักผลไม้ และกล้วยไม้สดดอกหลากหลายสีสวยสดงดงาม เสื้อผ้าอาภรณ์เครื่องประดับและการละเล่นต่างๆ ไว้บริการฯ
