Wat Buddharangsi of Miami (Buddhist Temple) was incorporated as a non-profit 501(c) (3) religious organization on August 25, 1982. On August 7, 1986, we bought a house with 5 acres of land at 15200 SW 240 St, Miami, FL 33032 where we are currently located. On December 7, 1989, we were given an official zoning change to build our temple. The ground-breaking ceremony of placing the cornerstones was held on June 11, 1995. We were given the Miami Dade County CO (Certificate of Occupancy) for all five buildings on August 11, 2002. On June 18, 2003, we had our official grand opening for the public and also had about 125 monks from all over the United States and Thailand to perform a special declaration ceremony.

Wat Buddharangsi has become a major center for Buddhism and Thai culture studies in Miami. We would like to thank all of the Buddhist community and our American friends who have helped us along the way. We couldn't accomplish this much without the help of so many people in the community. This year, the temple would like to invite you to join the celebration of the temple's anniversary on Sunday, June 9, 2024. The schedule is as follows:

We would like to invite you to come and join us to celebrate this special day. We wish you and your family peace, health and happiness. In addition, there will be food, fruits, vegetables, clothing, jewelry, and other items for sale. Also, there will be on stage performance in this event.

วัดพุทธรังษี เมืองไมอามี่ ได้จดทะเบียนเป็นวัดถูกต้อง เมื่อวันที่ ๒๕ สิงหาคม ๒๕๒๕ ในขณะนั้นยังเช่าคาบาน่าอพารท์เม้นท์อยู่ และวันที่ ๗ สิงหาคม ๒๕๒๙ ได้ซื้อที่ดิน บ้านเลขที่ 15200 S.W. 240 St, Miami , FL 33032 เป็นสถานที่ตั้งวัดในปัจจุบัน ได้ย้ายเข้ามาอยู่เมือวันที่ ๒๓ ตุลาคม ๒๕๒๙ ตรงกับวันปิยมหาราช วันที่ ๒๓ สิงหาคม ๒๕๓๒, ๑๙๘๙ ขอเปลี่ยนโซน เรื่องไม่ผ่าน ได้ยื่นเรื่องขอเปลี่ยนโซนใหม่ เมื่อวันที่ ๗ ธันวาคม ๒๕๓๒ , ๑๙๘๙ ครั้งนี้ผ่าน ได้รับ อนุมัติให้สร้างเป็นวัดได้ ได้ฤกษ์วางศิลาฤกษ์อุโบสถ วันอาทิตย์ที่ ๑๑ มิถุนายน ๒๕๓๘ เริ่มลงมือก่อ สร้าง ๑๘ มิถุนายน ๒๕๓๙ ได้รับอนุมัติให้ใช้สถานที่ได้ถูกต้องตามกฎหมาย เมื่อวัน ที่ ๑๑ สิงหาคม ๒๕๔๕

นับแต่ปีที่ได้อนุมัติให้จัดตั้งเป็นวัดได้ ครบ ๔๒ ปีพอดี แต่เพื่อความสะดวก ในการกำหนด วันจัดงาน ทางวัด จึงได้กำหนดวันจัดงานเฉลิมฉลองครบ ๔๒ ปี ในวันอาทิตย์ที่ ๙ มิถุนายน ๒๕๖๗ มีพิธีในการปฏิบัติตามลำดับดังนี้

เวลา ๐๖.๐๐ น. พระสงฆ์พร้อมผู้ปฏิบัติธรรม ทำวัตรเช้า แปล

เวลา ๐๗.๐๐ น. ถวายภัตตาหารเช้าแด่พระสงฆ์และผู้ปฏิบัติธรรม

เวลา ๑๐.๐๐ น. พระสงฆ์พร้อมสาธุชนทำวัตรเช้า แปล

เวลา ๑๐.๓๐ น. พระสงฆ์ออกรับบิณฑบาต

เวลา ๑๑.๐๐ น. ถวายภัตตาหารเพลแด่พระสงฆ์และผู้ปฏิบัติธรรม

เวลา ๑๓.๐๐ น. มีพระธรรมเทศนาหนึ่งกัณฑ์

เวลา ๑๕.๐๐ - ๑๗.๐๐ น. สอนกัมมัฏฐาน

เวลา ๑๘.๐๐ น. พระสงฆ์พร้อมผู้ปฏิบัติทำวัตรเย็นแปล เจริญเมตตาภาวนา

จึงขอเชิญชวนท่าน สาธุพุทธศาสนิกชนผู้ใจบุญทุกๆท่าน ได้นำภัตตาหารคาว-หวาน มาร่วม ทำบุญฉลองวัดครบ ๔๒ ปี มาฟังข้อคิดเห็น เสนอความคิดเห็น อันจักเป็นประโยชน์ต่อส่วนรวม ได้ตามวันเวลาสถานที่ดังกล่าวโดยความพร้อมเพรียงกัน ในงานนี้ ทางวัดได้จัดเทศกาลอาหารไทย พร้อมกับพืชผักผลไม้ ฅลอดจนสินค้าของที่ระลึกจำหน่าย รวมถึงการแสดงบนเวทีด้วย
